Money can’t buy you love, right? Maybe so, but, we STILL are spending a nice chunk of change on it!
The company CouponPi polled 1,000 Americans in relationships and found that yearly, they spend $6,138 on their relationship. That’s $559 on presents, as well as $5,579 on dates and activities! It adds up!
The single biggest expense is dining out, with 94% eating out regularly, about twice a month.
Concerts, shows, sporting events and other events are the second-biggest expense, typically once a month, at a cost of $131, or $1,569 per year.
