Who’s Getting Snow In Florida

Parts of Florida are under a State of Emergency today, thanks to the severe weather that has triggered winter storm warnings from the Panhandle to Jacksonville. Here in Tampa Bay we’re tracking potentially heavy rains for the next couple of days with 10 Tampa Bay Weather. Cold weather shelters will also be open again tonight, with the current list here.

The Gasparilla Parade of Pirates returns to take over the streets of Tampa this Saturday. For a list of events, tickets info and what areas you’ll want to avoid, check with us here. The invasion forecast is calling for a morning low of 37, and a high of 61.

Rumor is the college football playoffs will return to Tampa. Unconfirmed reports are that Raymond James Stadium would host Tampa’s second College Football Playoff national title game, happening in 2029.
