America may run on Dunkin’ but some parts of the country had to run without the iconic doughnuts.

A handful of stores across the country had no doughnuts “due to a manufacturing error,” The Associated Press reported. Some did have the company’s doughnut holes or Munchkins available.

Tyler Raikar worked overnight and stopped by an Omaha, Nebraska, location that was doughnut-less.

She said “What? No doughnuts! That’s tragic,” the AP reported.

Raikar was able to get her much-needed coffee.

Employees in Albuquerque, New Mexico, said that it was a supply chain issue with delivery trucks showing up without their stock of doughnuts. Those employees said they hoped that they would have doughnuts by this week, the AP reported.

Franchise owner Bryce Bares said that some of the doughnuts his stores received were not the quality he expected so he did not sell them, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

Inspire Brands spokesperson Jack D’Amato told the AP that 4% of stores were impacted when there was an issue with a single supplier. The Dunkin’ parent company is investigating.

About 380 stores did not have doughnuts, the “Today” show reported.
