MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. — An Alabama man has been arrested after he allegedly shot his wife in the face, officials say.
According to WHNT, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called out to a house on Thursday after receiving a shots fired call. When they arrived, deputies found a woman on the front porch who was shot in the face.
MCSO said in a post on Facebook that the woman was conscious and alert when they found her. Her husband, Jes Paseur, 31, was at the house at the time of the shooting. MCSO said he was later taken into custody.
The woman was taken to a hospital and remains in stable condition, MCSO said. No further information has been released.
Paseur has been booked on the recommended charge of first-degree domestic violence and is being held on a $10,000 bond, according to MCSO.
