It’s a rare sight in the Sunshine State, but parts of the Florida Panhandle had over eight inches of snow with more falling. That chilly weather may keep a few people off the water this weekend, but the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates will return to take over the streets of Tampa this Saturday. It looks like the college football playoffs will return to Tampa. Reports are that Raymond James Stadium would host Tampa’s second College Football Playoff national title game, happening in 2029.
