Pinellas County Commissioners are scheduled to meet Tuesday to make the decision to issue more than $300 million in bonds that would pay for their share of the proposed new stadium. The county says they want proof that the Rays are living up to their end of the deal and have the money to do so. St Pete City Council voted in favor of the deal last week.
There’s another cold front heading our way by the weekend, but the Dove Tampa Bay Forecast from 10 Tampa Bay Weather, also adds a slight chance of rain for most of the week. But for the final shopping weekend before Christmas it will be sunny and in the mid 60′s.
While much of Tampa Bay has wrapped up, or is in the process of wrapping up storm debris pickup, Sarasota County is aiming toward a January end date. The county asks that you make sure to keep debris separated by household, vegetative and construction.
The news isn’t good for Florida citrus farmers, thanks to a bad hurricane season. Citrus production may hit record lows according the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
