CHRISTMAS EVE
Light up the Bayou in Tarpon Springs with 3,000 luminaries! Volunteers are welcome and needed on Christmas Eve Day beginning at 10 a.m. Please stop by the Bayou to help whenever you can. Craig Park Tarpon Avenue at Spring Boulevard, Tarpon Springs. Then come back after the sunsets for a beautiful night on the Bayou.
36 hours of commercial free Christmas music, brought to you by Crown Eurocars, will kick off today at noon with Ann Kelly! Before that, Jamison Uhler and Caitlin Lockerbie will be in studio, taking over at 11 am with special messages and memories.
The USF Bulls will play in the Hawaii Bowl on tonight Eve against San Jose State. Kickoff at Ching Athletics Complex in Honolulu (home stadium for the University of Hawaii) is set for 8 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN.
The reopening of Pinellas County parks and beaches is underway, and most locations will reopen by January. Sand Key Park and Indian Shores Beach Access are now open. Lake Seminole Park is scheduled to reopen Saturday. Fred Howard Park in northern Pinellas is open, but the beach and causeway, including beach access areas at Redington Shores and Madeira Beach, remain closed. Indian Rocks Beach Access parking is open, but the beach is closed. Check each before heading over for updates.
