Join Gulfside Regional Hospice and our friend former Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Mike Alstott as we Hike for Hospice on Sunday, November 14! This year, the fourth annual Hike for Hospice (a 5K – 3.1 mile walk) will be held at the Wesley Chapel District Park with kick off at 9 a.m.

All proceeds from the Hike for Hospice will be designated for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses in Pasco County. Pasco County Falls Prevention Coalition

A Fall Prevention Coalition was started in Pasco County in February of 2008. Members represent health and social service agencies as well as private businesses that serve seniors. The group is collecting data on the prevalence of falls among seniors in Pasco County and working on ways to educate seniors on ways to prevent falls. The group is seeking additional members and interested parties are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.
