When Dick Ring left his native New England in 1974 and moved to Florida, it was love at first sight. Over the years, he’s become one of the boosters and practitioners of the Florida lifestyle. For over 25 years, Tampa Bay listeners have been waking up with a "ring" in their ear. Dick's rich, warm voice is the first thing most people hear each morning.

Dick has that facility of turning listeners into friends. The screamers and shouters come and go in today’s radio market and you don’t last long unless you have something genuine to offer; which is no doubt why Dick is, by far, one of the top morning personalities in the Tampa Bay area.
